Central 301 is Ready for Homecoming
Central 301 is excited to announce the schedule of events for Homecoming at Central 2023. With many of the events taking place at Rocket Hill, the district is thrilled to have the entire school district celebrate with spirit weeks at all seven (7) district schools.
Central High School students will kick off the celebration with in-school assemblies on Friday, September 15. Then the fun gets going across the district the following Monday, September 18 with the beginning of Spirit Week. From grade school kids to high school teenagers, students will have a chance to dress up and show out all week long!

“Super Tuesday” features four (4) varsity sports in action for the Central Rockets on September 19. On Wednesday, September 20, Powder Puff, a Community Pep Rally and a Fireworks celebration highlight a huge slate of events at Rocket Hill. The varsity football matchup on Friday, September 22 features a battle with the McHenry Warriors, a first time homecoming opponent for the Central Rockets. Finally, Saturday, September 23 is the annual Homecoming Dance at Rocket Hill beginning at 7:00 PM.
The district has created a website so that everyone can keep up with all the happenings at Central 301 during the 70th Annual Homecoming at Central celebration. There you will find a full schedule of events, links in order to purchase tickets and more!

Homecoming at Central is planned by our students and staff in coordination with our student council organizations. A special thank you goes out to everyone who’s working hard to make all the fun possible!
