District 301 has been pleased to partner with Your Choice Prevention Education to provide Parent University and student events to promote substance abuse awareness and prevention. These Wake Up Call events have been very well received by both families and students, and we are pleased to share new presentation opportunities for parents and guardians this winter.
Your Choice is offering a virtual winter speaker series that will offer presentations on timely and important topics such as youth substance use prevention, ADHD, students on social media, and more. All presentations will be held virtually through Zoom webinar on Wednesdays from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm beginning January 13th. Registration is free, but required, for anyone who wishes to participate.
