Scholarship Opportunities and Resources During the spring semester, students ramp up their efforts to seek scholarship money for higher education. Our hope is to support Central 301 students in their quest after graduation. Here is a list of scholarship opportunities that might be of interest to our Central 301 students. Read Across America Week – Celebrating Reading Minutes The HBT teachers were tasked with tracking the number of minutes their class read during Read Across America Week. Bus Buddy Challenge
Central 301 Transportation is rolling out a new Bus Buddy Challenge to encourage positive behaviors on the bus! This exciting program rewards students for showing kindness, respect, and responsibility while riding to and from school. How It Works: ✅ Each week, grade school bus drivers can nominate up to 10 students for demonstrating great behavior.✅

Beowulf on a Budget – Recap
This past Thursday and Friday, the Central 301 community was treated to a wonderful performance of “Beowulf on a Budget” by our PKMS Drama Club. Our talented students brought the epic tale of Beowulf to life with creativity, humor, and heart – all while proving that a big story can be told on a budget.

PKMS/CMS Wrestling at State!
Congratulations to Prairie Knolls students Gideon Ayers, Damon Llanuza, Liam Morris, and Raylan LaSage as they qualified for the IESA State Wrestling Tournament held at Northern Illinois University. The boys wrestled well with Damon Llanuza placing 2nd and Gideon Ayers bringing home a state title! Congratulations and well done!

Carl the Cougar visits CT Classrooms
Carl visited classrooms this week on Spirit Wednesday to celebrate students who were wearing their House Colors. Carl was even challenged to a dance off!
