📚 SkillsUSA Qualifies for Nationals!
49 CHS students competed in Peoria—and 10 made it to nationals. Congratulations to our Rockets for excelling in Graphics Communication, Community Service and Quiz Bowl.
📊 Math Team Makes Their Mark
At the ICTM State Math Contest, our Geometry Team took 7th place and Mana Sipayi placed 4th in Individual Geometry. Go Mathletes!
🚌 Board Vacancy Announced
Interested in serving on the Board of Education? The Central 301 BOE is looking to fill a term through April 2027. Applications are open until May 9.
🎶 Caterpillar Concert at PV
Kindergarten and 1st grade students put on a colorful and creative music performance inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar!
🐶 Spot the Dog at HBT
Mrs. Linder’s 2nd graders celebrated great attendance by completing STEAM activities with Spot the Attendance Dog!
🚌 Bus Buddy Challenge
April winners were announced for students showing great behavior on the bus. Our big winners picked up a Dairy Queen gift card! Next up, the year-end grand prize!
🎉 A Night to Remember
With a record-breaking 533 attendees, Prom 2025 at Pinstripes was a dazzling celebration. From gourmet bites to photo booths and a late-night french fry bar, students brought the sparkle and Rocket spirit. 📸 See the full photo spread in this month’s In The Loop!
