Veteran’s Day at Prairie View
Prairie View’s patriotic students helped honor our Veterans’ this week! Our students, staff and PTO helped host our local veterans for a breakfast and assembly filled with performances dedicated to our Veterans! The students recited poems and chants, as well as the pledge of allegiance in sign language, and all sung “This is America” beautifully!

HBT’s Comic Club
Kaboom! It’s Comics! Kaboom! It’s Comics! is a new mini club offerred at HBT for 4 weeks during the month of November. Monday, November 10th, was the first meeting. D301 Hosts Barnes & Nobles Bookfair District 301 hosted a bookfair at Barnes & Nobles. HBT staff attended the event to either read a book to students, help families shop for good books, or greet District Families and guests who came to shop! It was a huge success and even TURBO showed up. Thank you
