How Lucky Are We?

CMS Students Share the Luck with Staff Appreciation Project
As St. Patrick’s Day approaches, students at Central Middle School are taking time to recognize the people who help make their school a great place to learn.
As part of the school’s March STAR service project, students are participating in an activity called “How Lucky Are We?” where they write messages of appreciation to CMS staff members. Each staff member’s photo has been placed on a shamrock, giving students the opportunity to share why they are thankful for the teachers and staff who support them each day.
Students are writing their messages during TASK time, continuing the positive momentum from the school’s recent Compliment Grams activity that encouraged students to share kind words with one another.
The finished shamrocks will be displayed in the main hallway later this week, creating a visual reminder of the appreciation students have for the people who help make Central Middle School such a special community.
