CHS Students Shine at Region 110 Internship Event
Rockets rise: Career pathways helping CHS students turn ambition into action
Students and community partners gathered on Wednesday, December 4 for the Northern Kane County Region 110 Internship Host Recognition Breakfast, hosted by the Alignment Collaborative for Education. The event celebrates the school–business partnerships that provide meaningful workplace learning experiences for high school students across the region.
Two Central High School students, Kennedy Penar and Nihaar Takhar, were selected to serve on the student panel, sharing how their internships in healthcare and business have helped shape their future goals and real world readiness. We are incredibly proud of their leadership and their ability to represent Central 301 with confidence and professionalism.
Region 110 internships allow students to explore careers, gain hands on experience, and develop the essential skills employers value. The Alignment Collaborative partners with local school districts and businesses to strengthen the workforce pipeline and support strong schools and communities.
We are grateful to our internship hosts and to the Alignment Collaborative for opening doors for our Rockets. Thank you for investing in our students and their futures!
