World Kindness Day

HBT Celebrates World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day was celebrated on November 13th this year. As a result, HBT grew some “kindness trees” in the hallway! Students who exhibited acts of kindness above and beyond what is typical were awarded a heart to be placed on the tree for their TURBO House. In addition to earning a heart, they also earned a point for their house. If the act of kindness was displayed during the bus ride or in the lunchroom, they received a different colored heart that was worth extra points. Students had about a week to earn a heart. Below you will see the trees that have been filled up by the House of Teamwork, House of Understanding, House of Respect, House of Bravery, and House of Optimism.
