Veterans Day 2024

Prairie View Honors Our Veterans

On November 11th, 2024, Prairie View staff, PTO, students and family members came together to honor Prairie View Veterans. Veterans and their family members began their morning with a breakfast led by the Prairie View PTO. After breakfast, the entire school came together to honor those who served with an all school assembly. Each grade level contributed to the assembly; from reading Veterans names, to the White Table ceremony, to chants and songs. We had a special contribution from “Just Make It Happen”, a non-profit organization out of DeKalb. We thank you Veterans!
