HBT Tackles Winter MAP Testing
For the last two week HBT students have been taking their Math and Reading MAP Growth winter benchmarking assessments. These tests are a great way for the HBT staff to know how their students are doing academically but it also provides them with a roadmap for how they may need to adjust their teaching in the months ahead to ensure every student is getting their unique needs met. As a school, we have made some exceptional growth!
Below you will see two graphs. The top one is from this most recent benchmarking and the bottom one is from the fall testing. We increased our median percentile score from 53rd to 71st in the area of Math! This is a great celebration because this is the area we have focused the most on.
Next, you will see two graphs that focus on Reading. The top one is from the most recent benchmarking and the bottom one is from fall testing. We increased our median percentile from 56th to 65th percentile. This is also a great celebration for HBT!
