Lily Lake First Graders Celebrate the 100th Day of School
The 100th day of school brought plenty of smiles and hands-on learning to Lily Lake Grade School, as first graders celebrated the milestone with a day full of creativity, curiosity, and fun.
Mrs. Jennifer Weibler’s class marked the occasion with a series of interactive activities designed to reinforce counting, problem solving, and collaboration. Students explored mystery bags filled with 100 items, offering clues and making predictions before revealing what was inside. After reading One Hundred Hungry Ants, students searched the classroom to find all 100 ants hidden throughout the room, turning the lesson into an engaging adventure. The celebration wrapped up with a festive photo booth that captured the excitement of the day.
Moments like these highlight how learning milestones can be both meaningful and memorable, blending academic concepts with joy and imagination.
