Fire Prevention Week 2024

Elburn Fire Department Visits Lily Lake Grade School

Students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade teamed up with Elburn firefighters to explore fire safety! They enjoyed a variety of interactive activities, including the smoke house, learning the stop, drop, and roll technique, and discovering firefighter gear. They even toured a fire truck and an ambulance! Each student received a goodie bag filled with fire safety tips, coloring pages, and a worksheet on how to safely escape a house.
