Country Trails Elementary wrapped up its Reading Madness challenge with a wild building-wide assembly, celebrating months of reading, engagement, and friendly competition.

The school-wide initiative began with 32 books, read and shared across classrooms and the library over the course of several months. Students participated in regular voting rounds, narrowing the field as the bracket progressed and excitement built throughout the building.

Inspired by a March Madness-style format, the final rounds brought a rapid elimination process, leading to a championship vote just ahead of spring break. The challenge not only encouraged reading across grade levels, but also created a shared experience that connected students and staff throughout the school.

Reading Madness continues to be a beloved tradition at Country Trails, highlighting the power of books and the joy of reading together.
