Coyote Culture Committee Takes on 2025

Prairie View staff and students kicked off their return from winter break by refocusing on our behavior and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) practices and needs. The teachers and staff that are apart of the Coyote Culture Committee worked on rebuilding structures and systems to support a school-wide approach to addressing behavior and SEL. Prairie View is focusing on six areas where students can continue to be respectful, responsible and safe.

Week 1: Classroom

Week 3: Bathroom

Week 4: Lunchroom

Week 5: Bus

Week 6: Playground

The committee has developed a weekly series of lessons that will focus on one specific area and the corresponding behaviors. Though many of our classes are doing these things already, these lessons will help to reteach some of the behavior expectations we are looking to unify as a school. Prairie View students were even brought in to assist with some of the videos and lessons!
