Strategic Planning Workshop Announced
Over the past year, Central 301, alongside the Board of Education, has begun the process to develop a strategic plan for Central 301. A strategic plan helps define the District’s long-term vision, mission, and goals, as well as outline key factors to achieve those goals. By identifying our long-term goals, we can ensure all stakeholders are working in alignment towards achieving them.
The Board of Education, alongside district administration, has identified four overarching goals for Central 301:
- Enhance student performance and growth
- Enhance educational operations and infrastructure
- Foster positive school culture and engagement
- Optimize educational outcomes through efficient budgeting and staffing
Each District school and department has completed a SWOT analysis for these four goals, identifying the District’s strengths (S), weaknesses (W), opportunities (O), and threats (T) in relation to these four areas. The next step in this process is to engage our community in this same exercise in order to ensure that we are hearing the voices of all stakeholders and can thereby develop an appropriate action plan moving forward.
We will be holding a Strategic Planning Workshop on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Central High School. This interactive workshop is open to all community members, but registration is required so that we can prepare the space needed for effective and meaningful conversations.
