FRIDAY FOCUS
Here’s a look at the happenings across Central 301 this week:
1Unplugged Rewind
Students and staff across the district stepped away from screens for the Global Day of Unplugging. Take a look at how Prairie Knolls, Howard B. Thomas, and our elementary librarians helped bring the day to life with hands-on learning and activities.
CHS Scholastic Bowl Regional Champs
The Rockets captured the IHSA Regional Championship this week! Wish them good luck as they travel to Rockford for Sectionals this weekend.
CHS DECA Qualifying for Internationals
In their first year as an official club, Central High School’s DECA program is already making waves with multiple students qualifying for the international competition in Atlanta.
Little Red Hen at Country Trails
Kindergarten students in Mrs. Milnamo’s class brought The Little Red Hen to life using handmade puppets in a creative classroom performance.
Elgin Community College Survey
ECC is gathering community feedback on future programming, including children’s programs, classes for adults 55+, and workforce focused courses. Community members are invited to share their input through a short survey
Money, Money, Money!
Our Scholarship Central page is growing with new opportunities for Central 301 students planning for life after graduation. This resource is updated regularly, so students are encouraged to check back often.
