FRIDAY FOCUS
Here’s a look at the happenings across Central 301 this week:

Registration Date Set
Registration for the 2026–2027 school year opens April 6 for all students, Early Childhood through Grade 12. Additional details will be added to the district website in March.

An Author Visit to Remember
New York Times bestselling author and Chicago native Lindsay Currie visited PKMS and CMS, inspiring students through storytelling, creativity, and her journey as a writer.

Rockets on the Big Stage
The Central Rockets Dance Team, fresh off an FVC championship, is downstate competing for Central 301’s first-ever IHSA State title. The bus trip to Central Illinois was a rather stylish one.

Turning Winter Days Into Play
When winter kept students inside, Early Childhood classrooms at Country Trails made the most of it with creativity, movement, and smiles.

Glow Party Earned
HBT second graders celebrated a well-earned class reward with a Glow Party filled with interactive ELA fun and high energy learning.

New Scholarship Chances!
Scholarship Central is live and growing with opportunities for Central 301 students planning for life after graduation. This resource is updated regularly, so students are encouraged to check back often.

The Digital Bulletin Board Awaits!
Find flyers, community resources, and upcoming events all in one place.

Thank you for being part of another memorable week across Central 301.
