🗳️ Your Voice, Our Future
Nearly 800 participants took part in surveys and forums that helped shape the New Superintendent Profile. The report—highlighting trust, vision, and stability as top priorities—is now available to review.
📚 Books, Cocoa, and Community
The Central Education Foundation invites everyone to a districtwide book fair at Barnes & Noble (Geneva Commons) on November 8. Shop books, gifts, and café treats—all while supporting Central 301 school libraries!
🏭 Learning Beyond the Bell
CTE students explored modern manufacturing firsthand with tours at McFona International, Pactiv Evergreen, and other regional companies. More than 600 high schoolers got an inside look at the skills driving tomorrow’s workforce.
🪔 Lighting Up Learning at Prairie View
Students and staff celebrated Diwali with presentations, treats, and decorations that shared the beauty and meaning behind the Festival of Lights.
🐾 Paws and Pages
At HBT, therapy dogs turned reading practice into pure joy! Students spent the morning sharing stories, building confidence, and making furry new friends.
🎃 Trunk or Treat Triumph
Windy, chilly—and completely worth it! Thank you to everyone who made our first-ever Trunk or Treat a spooky success for our youngest Rockets.
🎨 Art in Action!
CHS students Hazel Anderson and Vivian Postawa took part in the ArtConnectED Illustration Art Throwdown, a fast-paced statewide art competition. Hazel earned third place out of 45 entries and nearly 1,900 votes—amazing work!
🏀 Hoops, Hype, and Heart
A full gym, cheerleaders, and plenty of energy made for an awesome 8th Grade Boys Basketball home opener against Kaneland—and a season that’s already off to a strong start!
🐾 Cougar Club Kicks Off with Kindness
CT 5th graders launched Cougar Club by organizing the Lost and Found and starting their Butter Braid fundraiser to support future school projects.
