Friday Focus – April 25, 2025
🎉 FRIDAY FOCUS 🎉
Here’s a look at what’s happening across Central 301 this week:
Calling All Central Softball Alumni!
The Central Rockets Softball program is bringing the past and present together for an Alumni Day celebration on May 14. Former players are invited back to reconnect, celebrate the program’s growth, and enjoy some time on the field. 💻 Interested in joining us? Sign up here
📚 HBT Book Fair & Ice Cream Social
The Scholastic BOGO Book Fair is in full swing at HBT, and students are shopping during their library times. Families were invited to browse and buy during Wednesday night’s Ice Cream Social.
🎶 Hitting the Right Notes at PV
PV students took the stage for their spring music concerts, bringing energy and joy to families and staff alike. Thanks to our music educators for helping students shine on stage!
🚌 Cheers to Our Unsung Heroes
This week we recognized our incredible school bus drivers and administrative assistants! Thank you for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes and on the road.
🎠Throwback Thursday: Prom Edition
We asked, and our staff delivered! From the fashion to the memories, this week’s Prom Throwback album was a huge hit on social media for #TBT. It’s a must-see that’s just in time for CHS prom this weekend.
🎨 CHS Artists at the 2025 FVC Art Show
Student artwork from Central High School was proudly featured at the Fox Valley Conference Art Show, showcasing talent and creativity across the region.
🌎 What Happened to the Pumpkin at Lily Lake?
Back in October, 1st graders in Mrs. Weibler’s class buried pumpkins filled with everyday items to see what would decompose by Earth Day. This week, they dug them up to discover what lasted and what didn’t. It was a meaningful lesson in composting and environmental awareness! 🌱
🗳️ Board of Education Update
This week, the Central 301 Board of Education welcomed newly elected members and confirmed new leadership roles on the BOE. We also extend our appreciation to the outgoing board members for their service and contributions to the district.
Thanks for staying connected to all the great things happening in Central 301. Have a fantastic weekend!
