šŸŽ‰ FRIDAY FOCUS šŸŽ‰
Here’s a look at what’s happening across Central 301 this week:

šŸŽØ Art Stars Shine in Chicago
Four CHS art students were selected to exhibit at the Illinois High School Art Exhibition at the Bridgeport Art Center! Ella Habib and Marcin Placzek also competed in a live Art Throwdown event.šŸ‘ Featured artists: Sarah Jack, Valas Taylor, Ella Habib, Marcin Placzek.

šŸŽ’ Summer Camp Season is Open!
Registration is now open for Central High School’s 2025 summer camps! Camps are available for registered Central 301 students based on the grade they will enter in the 2025–26 school year. From athletics to enrichment, there’s something for every student.

šŸ¦ Robots, Ice Cream & Testing Wrap-Up
At Lily Lake, students wrapped up IAR testing by building and racing robots before enjoying a well-earned ice cream celebration—see how they brought STEM and sweets together. Over at Country Trails, students marked the end of testing with classroom activities and well-deserved recognition for their hard work.

šŸŽ“ Parent University at HBT
HBT Principal Kim Lewis hosted her first-ever Virtual Parent University, focused on after-school athletics and activities available to elementary students. The session was all about promoting opportunities that build confidence, teamwork, and growth.

🄐 Breakfast of Champions at PKMS
Prairie Knolls celebrated 6th and 7th graders during the 3rd Quarter Student Recognition Breakfast! Awards were given for Academic Achievement, Good Character, and more—all supported by our amazing PTO and cafeteria team

🄚 Egg Hunts Add Up to Learning
At Country Trails, Mrs. Green’s 3rd graders combined review and movement with a math egg hunt—each egg contained a problem from earlier in the year, which students later solved in teams. Meanwhile at Prairie View, Mr. Roberts’ 1st graders went on a Scrabble-style egg hunt, building sight words and tallying up points based on letter values. A creative way to blend academics, fun, and collaboration just before break!

🚌 Help Drive Our Future
We’re actively hiring bus drivers—and there’s no better way to serve our students than helping them start and end their day safely. 🚨 And don’t forget to check out our weekly Workin’ on Wednesdays job highlights on social media!
