🎓 College & Career Night
On Wednesday, CHS hosted College & Career Night, welcoming guest speakers from Elgin Community College and the University of Illinois-Springfield to discuss post-secondary options. A special panel of CHS seniors also answered questions about the admissions process from a student’s perspective.

☘️ Catch Me If You Can!
Leprechauns were on the loose across the district, and Central 301 students were on a mission to catch them! Our 2nd graders at Lily Lake put their engineering skills to the test by building leprechaun traps! With a mix of creativity and problem-solving, students designed clever contraptions to catch those tricky little leprechauns. Meanwhile at HBT, Ms. Buetow’s 1st graders worked in pairs and built their best traps—but that sneaky leprechaun still managed to escape.

🦅 Falcons in Flight!
Prairie Knolls families soared to new heights on Wednesday night at the first-ever “Flight of the Falcons” event! Students and their families worked together to tackle academic challenges set by PKMS teachers in Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, and PE. From problem-solving to teamwork, it was a night of learning, fun, and family engagement in the Falcon’s Nest!

🎤 Stepping Into the Spotlight!
This week, CMS students took the stage for Talent Show tryouts, showcasing their skills in singing, dancing, comedy, music, and more! The big performance is set for May 8th during the Spring Showcase from 6-7:30 PM—get ready for a night of unforgettable talent! 🎭✨

Thanks for staying connected to all the great things happening in Central 301. Have a fantastic weekend!
