CMS Closed Today Due to Well Failure

Due to well failure at Central Middle School (CMS), we will be closing CMS today, Tuesday, December 10, 2024. All other District buildings will be open and operating as usual.

All CMS students and staff, with the exception of buildings and grounds staff, will be off today due to this situation. CMS students who travel to Central High School will not be expected to attend class. The Mid-Valley program housed at CMS will be closed today, as well. Staff who work at both CMS and another location will still be expected to work at their other assigned building as scheduled.

The building is expected to remain closed for after school activities and athletics. If circumstances change and after school activities can be resumed, we will send a separate notification.

As this closure only impacts one building, the school day will not be made up at the end of the year.
