CHS Service Club Launches Meal Kit Food Drive

Central High School’s Service Club Micro Pantry is launching a Meal Kit Food Drive to support families in our community this winter. From December 1 through December 10, students, staff, and community members are invited to donate items that will be packaged into complete meal kits at the December Service Club meeting.
Donations can include canned goods, pasta, cereal, hygiene products, and other non perishable items. Service Club has identified several most needed items to help round out the meal kits:
- Deluxe mac and cheese
- Canned chili
- Diced tomatoes
- Canned ham
- Canned chicken
- Canned white beans
- Black beans
- Canned green beans
- Canned corn
- Canned mixed veggies
- Tomato sauce
- Spanish rice
- Instant mashed potatoes
- Gravy mix
- Chili seasoning
- Bouillon cubes
- Cheese sauce
Most non perishable items will be accepted and appreciated.
Donations can be dropped off at Door 10, the main office, or the LMC at Central High School.
Service Club has also partnered with the Athletic Office and our basketball programs to support the effort. Spectators who bring five canned goods to home games on November 25, December 2, or December 3 will receive free admission to the game.
Thank you to our Service Club student leaders and to everyone who helps make this drive a success for our Central 301 community.
