Another school year is in the books, but there’s still plenty to celebrate! 🎓☀️
From classroom campouts to clap outs, the last week of school was packed with celebration — and we’ve got the photos to prove it. Graduation at NIU drew nearly 2,800 proud family and friends, and the Class of 2025 is already in the spotlight.
This month’s Alumni Spotlight features Katie O’Brien ’99, whose Central story has come full circle. And if you’ve got a story to share, we want to hear from you!
You’ll meet a bus driver who’s also a beekeeper (yes, really) , and learn who isn’t Carl. Plus, we’re celebrating some major student and staff success — including perfect ACT scores, a baseball regional championship on Rocket Hill, and our 2025 Educator of the Year in Kane County.
