Central 301 Board of Education Welcomes New Members

On Monday, the Central 301 Board of Education seated its newly elected members following the April 2025 Consolidated Election.

Ryan Wasson, who was appointed to the board last month, was officially elected and has now been selected to serve as Board President—a role most recently held by Dornetria Hemphill. Morgan Pappas will continue as Vice President, and newly elected Scott Mrkvicka was named Board Secretary.

The board also welcomes two additional new members: Andrew Dogan and Micheline Welch. Jeff Gorman continues his current term on the board. One board seat remains vacant and will be filled by June 16, in accordance with Illinois statute.

We extend our sincere thanks to outgoing members Junaid Afeef, Marc Falk, Dornetria Hemphill, and Jennifer Volpe for their time and service to Central 301.
