🎉 FRIDAY FOCUS 🎉

Here’s a look at some of this week’s highlights from across Central 301:

🏫 Welcome Back to CMS
Central Middle School students returned to their building this week after the well failure in early December. We’re so glad to have them back in their classrooms, ready to learn and thrive!

đź’Ľ Back to the Grind
Our incredible staff kicked off the new year with an Institute Day full of professional learning and collaboration on Monday, ensuring they were ready to welcome students back to class on Tuesday!

đź“ś Civil War History Comes to Life
Students at Central Middle School got up close and personal with Civil War-era artifacts during their social studies class. They explored clothing, supplies, musical instruments, medical equipment, and even games used to pass the time in camp—making history feel more real than ever!

🎖️ A Prestigious Honor
Sam Buckman, Central High School Class of 2022, was chosen as one of the marines to guard President Jimmy Carter’s body in the Capitol Rotunda—a remarkable distinction for one of our own. We posted a few photos of Sam on guard.

🏆 Scholar Winner
Congratulations to Ravi Shah, an 8th grader at CMS whose essay was selected by the VFW as the winning entry among 88 submissions. Way to make Central 301 proud, Ravi!

Thanks for staying connected to all the amazing things happening across Central 301. Have a fantastic weekend!
