Honoring Local Veterans at Lily Lake Grade School

Lily Lake staff and students extended a heartfelt thank you to all of the Veterans who joined us for our Veterans Day assembly. Your presence allowed us the opportunity to recognize and honor the incredible sacrifices you have made for our country. We are deeply grateful for your service and dedication.
We were proud to have Student Advisory host Veterans in our library for breakfast and students in each classroom presented letters, poems, and personal messages during the assembly. Your hard work helped make this event a meaningful part of our celebration. We also want to acknowledge our 8th grade band for their outstanding musical performance. Your talent and commitment added a beautiful touch to the ceremony and helped make the day truly special.
Together, these efforts created an event that honored our Veterans in a way that was thoughtful, meaningful, and full of respect. Thank you all for making this day a success, and for showing such care and appreciation for those who have served our nation.
