A big congratulations to our incredible Track & Field athletes who competed at the IESA State Meet over the weekend. Prairie Knolls athletes represented Central 301 on the biggest stage, and we could not be more proud of how they performed. The team brought home some hardware and made school history!

  • Arden McCoy capped off an amazing season by placing 3rd in the state for Shot Put!
  • The powerhouse team of Arden McCoy, Olivia Erickson, Rory Atieh, and Tinsley Schroeder crushed it on the track, placing 5th in the state in the Medley Relay!
  • Chase Murray brought home two state medals by placing 4th in the state for Pole Vault and 5th in the state for High Jump!
  • The boys’ Medley Relay team of Gianni Sammarco, Adanis Ibric, Jacob Poffenberger, and Kaiden Barham left it all on the track and broke the school record!

What an unbelievable weekend and a perfect finish to a phenomenal season. Thank you to all of our state qualifiers for your hard work, dedication, and putting our school on the map.
