Reading Madness Comes to Life at Lily Lake
Lily Lake turned reading into a full school experience this week with its Reading Madness Book Tournament assembly, bringing students together to celebrate a love of books in a fun and engaging way.
After weeks of reading and voting, students narrowed the tournament down to two finalists: Elvis & Romeo and Odder. The entire school gathered for an assembly where students cast their final votes to determine the winning book — with Odder taking home the championship.
Students also showed their support by dressing in themed colors, creating a spirited atmosphere throughout the building. Events like Reading Madness continue to highlight the importance of literacy while giving students a chance to connect, participate, and celebrate reading together.
More Reading Madness assemblies are taking place across Central 301 elementary schools this week as we head into spring break.
