CHS Earns AP School Honor Roll Recognition
Central High School was named to the AP School Honor Roll for expanding access to Advanced Placement courses and supporting students on the path to college success. This national recognition highlights a strong commitment to opportunity, readiness, and academic growth.
Cheer & FFA Celebrate State Success
Our Central Rockets Cheer Team earned an impressive 8th place finish, marking their fourth straight Top 10 performance at state. Meanwhile, CHS FFA students delivered outstanding results at the Illinois FFA state contests, earning top team finishes and individual honors across multiple events.
100 Days of Learning & Fun
Students across the district celebrated the 100th day of school with creativity at Lily Lake and plenty of smiles at Country Trails. From themed activities to hands-on learning, the milestone was a memorable one.
Neon Night at HBT
The HBT PTO hosted its first ever Neon Night Dance Party, bringing students and families together for an evening filled with music, laughter, and glowing fun.

CHS Blood Drive – February 19
Central High School will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, February 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Wrestling Room 250. One donation can help save lives.
Registration Date Set
Registration for the 2026–2027 school year opens April 6 for all students, Early Childhood through Grade 12. Additional details will be added to the district website in March.
