CHS Celebrates Record Number of Illinois State Scholars

Central High School is proud to announce that 62 seniors have been named Illinois State Scholars by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) — the highest number ever recognized in a single year at CHS.

This prestigious honor is awarded to students across Illinois for exemplary academic performance based on a combination of grade point average and results on statewide standardized exams. These seniors have demonstrated outstanding dedication, perseverance, and achievement throughout their academic careers.

To celebrate this milestone, CHS will host a special “State Walk” featuring the drumline on Thursday, December 11 at 9:00 AM, followed by a certificate presentation and photo opportunity in the Auditorium. Families of the recipients are welcome to attend as we cheer them on for this well earned recognition.
