Honoring Heroes: Central High School Hosts Annual Veterans Day Breakfast
A morning of gratitude, pride, and community on Rocket Hill
Central High School opened its doors and hearts on Veterans Day, welcoming dozens of local veterans, students, and families for its annual Veterans Day Breakfast — a cherished tradition that continues to grow each year.
The morning featured remarks from Principal Dr. Brett Bending, student-led tributes, and performances from the CHS Drumline and Choir, filling the library with music and appreciation. Veterans were honored with interviews and interactive trivia, while Life Skills students led the Pledge of Allegiance in a moving moment of unity.
A special thank you goes out to the Service Club and AV Club, who transformed the library with patriotic decorations and thoughtful touches, helping to create a warm and memorable atmosphere.
