What is Career & Technical Education?

Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs allow students to develop academic and technical skills that prepare them for success in their future careers. CHS currently offers CTE programs in agriculture, technology, business, and family and consumer sciences.

Regional Career Pathways

Central District 301 has partnered with District 300, District 303, and District U-46 to provide regional career pathways that will be open to students across districts. These pathways will lead to a certification for students that they can carry directly into the workplace. For the 2022-2023 school year, students can enroll in the following programs:

  • Veterinary Assistant
  • Welding
  • Precision Manufacturing
  • Automotive Technology
