All District 301 parents and guardians are invited to join us for our upcoming Parent University event on Wednesday, November 20th, at Central High School. This Parent University will offer two sessions:
Vaping – What Parents Need to Know – With a number of vaping-related deaths in recent months, concerns about vaping are growing. The Renz Center will share valuable information about vaping, its effect on teens, warning signs to look for, and more.
All About Social-Emotional Learning: An Overview of Frequently Asked Questions & District Initiatives – Kate Vincent, District 301 Social-Emotional Learning Coordinator, will provide an overview of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), including the correlation between SEL and student achievement and D301 initiatives.
Each session will be offered at both 6:00 and 7:15, so attendees may choose to attend one or both sessions. Childcare will be provided and light refreshments will be served.
All attendees will be entered into a drawing to win a gift card to a local restaurant! RSVPs are not required, but are encouraged. Click here to let us know you’re coming!
