Central District 301 is committed to supporting our students and their families in order to foster a positive learning experience. In some cases, that includes assisting those who may be struggling to provide their students with the basic school supplies requested by their teachers.

ECC is hosting its eighth annual Project Backpack event on Saturday, August 12th. Families may visit the event to receive a free backpack for their students as well as experience some family fun. The event will be held from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the Building J Spartan Events Center. Click here for more information or visit www.project-backpack.org. You can also contact ECC’s Student Life Office at 847-214-7370 if you would like to volunteer for this event. Para informacion en espanol, por favor hable 847-888-5000 ext. 4211.

The District, in partnership with the 301 Foundation, may be able to assist with school supplies and costs for items such as field trips over the course of the school year. We encourage families experiencing financial difficulties to be in communication with building principals so they can work with you to support your family. Families experiencing homelessness are asked to reach out to the District Office as additional resources may be available.

It is our honor to partner with our families to create exceptional opportunities for our students. We are looking forward to another great school year!
